Targeted Supports for Adolescent Striving Readers: Storyshares & HILL for Literacy

Storyshares partnered with HILL for Literacy to create a literacy intervention program that centers the experiences, interests, and abilities of older striving readers and their teachers. We paired HILL for Literacy's evidence-based instructional routines for small group decoding and fluency practice with Storyshares decodable and high-low chapter books. The resulting program is LIFT (Literacy Intervention for Teens).
